She is particularly good, so I will want to be on the high end of whatever’s appropriate.

Giving her a bonus of about a week’s pay is very appropriate – especially if you think that she is doing her job well. As a nanny in MN, I would say that getting an extra weeks pay for a bonus would be very generous of you.
