123 asked:
How much does a nanny (in Illinois), get paid per child and per week?
I was looking into this as a job. I don’t have any kids.
I would watch the kid(s) while the parent(s) work. I would feed them, entertain them, and take them to school.
Is there any courses I would have to take?

I’m really not sure why rude people get on hear and answer question… they need to get better things to do!
Anyways…
I plan on paying my mother 200 bucks a month, but then again she’s my Mom and she’s going to be helping me out, so others may be more expensive. Hope it helps at least a little!!

I get 250 a week for a infant and a 4 yr old they come to my house and I have them 10 hrs a day 5 days a week I live in wisconsin, but grew up in illinois and I would suggest calling around to daycares find out what they charge and then lower it a bit

I get $240 weekly for three kids 9 to 5 with very occasional other times. No babies, no diapers, no behavorial problems so this job is easy.

A nanny usually gets paid anywhere from $8-15 an hour depending on experience, her age, # of children she will be caring for, and duties she will be expected to preform. In your area, a younger, first time nanny watching 1-2 children will probably start at $8-10 an hour, maybe a little more.
