Save The Tatas asked:
Do you have to hire two nannies if you have twins? I know the nannies suck, but my twins are about to turn into children so I didn’t feel like making another sim. She kept taking care of Jacob over and over again by feeding him and picking him up and stuff, but she was totally ignoring Jacayla. She just left her crying in her crib.

Well yeah, nannies ****. But you don’t need to hire two of them. In fact, I’m pretty sure the game doesn’t even allow it. As far as I know, you can only hire one of each helper.
But especially for when they become children, you don’t really need anyone to look after them. for the most part they can look after themselves, so it’s all good. The only reason why you even need one nanny is because the social worker will take them away if you leave them alone, or your adult sims won’t go to work if the kids are still on the lot.
But for when they’re toddlers and babies, there’s really nothing you can do about the horrible nannies when you have twins. Pretty much no matter what, at least one of them will get neglected if not both. The nannies are actually the biggest problem with the game, and everyone complains about it to EA. I don’t know if it was EA’s idea of a joke, or if the nannies just **** by accident, but they really are horrible.
