I would say $5. That is what I did at least. If you are trying to find a job, send out flyers in your neighborhood (magnets have the best affect) and put on it your name, address, phone number, what you are willing to do, and that you are red crossed cirtified. Put on a piece of paper stuff about yourself and maybe what days and hours are good for you. Let people know that you are interested in babysitting! Good Luck!

It depends on the age of the child {ren}, are the parents picking you up, or do you have to be dropped off? Do you have to cook or clean? Ask all those important q’s . While interviewing for the job, pay a lot of attention to the children, get on the floor and play with them , explore new and fun ideas for their ages . Come totally prepared, research what children of the particular ages usually like to do . Good Luck, I started babysitting at the age of 11 and am now a preschool teacher , with a 10 year old daughter of my own.
