Is $1500/month enough to pay for a full time babysitter for my three children this summer?
I have a two year old, a six year old with special needs, and a 10 year old.
She is 18 years old, has babysitter course, first aid, and cpr c
This is in Canada btw…thought I should mention that cause canada and america have different currency.

That equals $75 day. $375 week.
If she were to work 8 hour day/5 days week that would be: about $9.38 per hour. (approx- $3.15 hour per child.)
I personally would pay at least $10.00 hour
Which would be $80.00 day. $400 week. $1600. per month. The extra hundred a month is well worth it – considering her qualifications and one childs special needs.
^^^This is American dollars.
*Just saw your last note on currency. * That is true and the Canadian currancy is worth 1.30561 more than American so that makes American $10.00 worth a Canadian $12.14. Figuring that into account, it actually sounds fair what you are paying your sitter.
I wish you the best.
