Getting married in May and my sister’s baby will be 5 months. My fiance and I are concerned w/ the baby crying at the ceremony and reception (after all, she can’t even walk yet, will just be on my sister’s lap and she’s in the bridal party).. I know she is assuming her baby will come with her. Her other child is 1.5 years and this is fine, but a new-born is a different story. Problem is all of our family will be at the wedding and reception so she has no one to leave the baby with…and she chooses not to get a babysitter or a local girlfriend. Personally, I don’t know why she would be offended and should understand; it’s our day! Not trying to be mean, I would never bring a 5-month old to a wedding! Help!

Even though babysitting can be a job pre-teens and teens can get at young ages, it doesn’t mean that they don’t need certain qualities that a parent should look for. I believe I have a majority of these qualities in which a good babysitter should require. The first reason why you should choose me to be your babysitter is that I am great with kids of all ages! A lot of this has to do with the fact that I have three younger sisters, who are 4, 7, and 10, so I am pretty experienced with children. I find it easy to entertain them and love to be around them. Another quality I have is that I am friendly and social. I work well with others and I love talking and just having fun! There are lots of activities I could do with your children, such as; watching a movie, playing a game or doing a simple craft that can keep them amused for a while! I come prepared when your kids are in my hands. I guarantee that you would have the satisfaction that your children are in great care and you can know they are safe at all times. Also, I don’t expect much pay because I’m doing something that I believe is enjoyable! Lastly, I am helpful and responsible. I can assure you that I will be on time and I love to help. I am also very organized. For example, one of my policies is that I will clean up any messes we have made, and leave your house just as it was before I got there (if not cleaner). I am also much focused. I don’t get easily distracted by TV, cell phones, or music, which is a great quality that a parent should look for. It means that your kids won’t get hurt as easily, and your children are being watched to the full extent. So, next time you are looking for a babysitter just call me! Why? Because I have the potential that you are looking for to leave you assured and satisfied your children are in good hands.

It is next to impossible to communicate w/ them being that they dont speak, rarely make eye contact, and know little sign language. they act as if you dont exist. any suggestions on how to interact w/ them, teach them how to express themselves, and understand others? Ive been recently employed by a family with a 4 year old girl and a two year old autistic boy who refuse to eat meat as well as alot of other foods. the mother however does not want them to consume alot of sugar. how can i make them all happy?
